United States History emphasizies the 20th Century, from the age of Post Civil War Industrialzation through the Information Age. Methods of instruction will emphasize a "hands on" approach, using learning centers, simulations, role playing, journal and essay writting, lecture,creative projects, research, exams and disscussion/debate.
I am a Santa Ynez High School Alumni, after which I double majored in History and Philosophy at Hartwick College, NY. I returned to California and recieved my teaching credential at Cal Poly. I am both a teacher and water polo, swimming and diving coach.
