    Santa Ynez Valley Union High School District sits on 39.5 acres. Our primary role is to maintain the District’s facilities as they exist. Our commitment to provide a safe and habitable environment to our students and staff is our number ONE objective.
     

     

    The Maintenance and Operation Team oversees and supports the cleaning and maintenance of 43 buildings ranging from:
    • Cafeteria, dining rooms, kitchen, administration, gymnasiums, performing arts, pump rooms, electrical closets, central heating and air conditioning plant, agriculture farming and classrooms.
     
    Our Grounds Maintenance team oversees a variety of ground requirements ranging from:
     
    • Mowing, edging, synthetic turf/track maintenance, plant bed maintenance, tree and hedge trimming, fertilizing, weed management, insect/pest management and irrigation maintenance.
