If you would like to address the SYVUHSD Board of Education at the April 15, 2021 special meeting, submit your digital public speaking card via email, by Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 3:00 pm. Please be reminded that, since this is a special meeting of the Board, comments will be limited to only items that appear on the agenda. You will be sent a unique link to join the meeting. Participants will wait as an “attendee” until allowed to speak at meeting by the meeting host, Assistant to the Superintendent Terry Westfall. Requests for a digital speaking card can be requested by emailing Mrs. Westfall at email@example.com.
Public speaking card request must include:
1. Your name
2. Agenda item
Individuals that do not wish to state their name should still state the agenda item being referenced, if any, along with the subject so that the comment can be introduced at the appropriate place on the agenda. If this information is not included, it will be assumed that it is to be read as a general public comment. Please note that if you wish to make “live” comments via video, your camera must be turned on. Displaying a name is optional if the speaker wishes to remain anonymous. Submitting an email to be read by the District is also allowed. However, the District will not read “anonymous” email comments during the Board meeting. A name must be included, or the comment will not be read. It is also requested that the agenda item and subject be included so that the comment can be introduced at the appropriate place on the agenda. If this information is not included, it will be assumed that it is to be read as a general public comment.
A time limit of three (3) minutes will be adhered to.
